Paint Correction

Paint correction is the machine-polishing stage that removes surface defects from the clear coat — swirl marks from washing, fine scratches, water-spot etching and dull, oxidized patches. It restores clarity, depth and gloss to the paint, and it is the stage that professional detailing and coating work should be built on. It is not a respray: correction works with the paint already on the car, and how much can be safely removed depends on how much clear coat the vehicle has.

  • Swirl marks and spider-web scratches visible in sunlight or under a light
  • Paint that looks dull, chalky or faded instead of deep and glossy
  • Water spots and etching left behind after rain or a wash

Ceramic Coating

A ceramic coating is a liquid polymer applied to prepared paint, where it cures into a semi-permanent layer bonded to the surface. That layer makes the paint more hydrophobic, so water beads and rolls off, dirt and grime release more easily at wash time, and the finish holds its gloss for longer than unprotected paint. It is a protective layer — it is not scratch-proof, and it is not a substitute for paint protection film against stone chips.

Paint Protection Film (PPF)

Paint protection film — PPF — is a transparent, self-adhesive urethane film applied over painted panels. It is a physical barrier: stone chips, road grit, light abrasion and bug or tar contamination land on the film instead of the paint. It is most useful on the surfaces that take the most punishment — the front bumper, the bonnet leading edge, wings, mirrors and door edges. The exact coverage is agreed with you after the vehicle has been inspected.

  • You drive on highways often, or regularly sit behind trucks on the road
  • The car is new — the best time to protect paint is before it takes damage

The exterior is cleaned and finished panel by panel, and the interior is deep cleaned from the carpets and upholstery to the dashboard, vents, door panels and boot, so the car looks and feels properly cared for again.
