A ceramic coating is a liquid polymer applied to prepared paint, where it cures into a semi-permanent layer bonded to the surface. That layer makes the paint more hydrophobic, so water beads and rolls off, dirt and grime release more easily at wash time, and the finish holds its gloss for longer than unprotected paint. It is a protective layer — it is not scratch-proof, and it is not a substitute for paint protection film against stone chips.
Why it matters
Coated paint stays cleaner for longer and is far easier to wash, which matters in Karachi where dust, road film and sun exposure all attack the finish. Gloss also holds longer, so the car keeps looking newer — and washing gets quicker and safer because there is less need to scrub dirt off the surface.
